Commitments 6-10

Welcome to our Virtual Book Club!

We're thrilled to welcome you to this experience with us.

We’ll meet weekly on Zoom in an interactive classroom for five weeks. We'll guide you through the exploration and practice of Commitments 6-10 of The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership. Each week we’ll introduce experiential exercises and shift moves related to commitments 6-10. You’ll practice in diads and triads during the class in breakout rooms, we'll answer your questions, and you'll receive practices to experiment with between classes.

Please don't share this page with people who aren't in the course. Check back weekly for recordings, resources, and prep materials.

You’ll find prep materials below for each week. Please come to the sessions prepared. 

After each session, we’ll post a recording of the class, any additional learning and practice materials that came up during our session, and list the resource page for the commitment(s) where you can explore even more. If you miss an in person class, you’ll be able to get up to speed and continue with us in close to real time by watching the video and engaging with the resources.

Week 1: Integrity (Commitment 6)

Homework

Use the Integrity Handout above to create a list of agreements with which you're out of integrity. To get back into integrity, begin with the easiest agreements to clean up. As you build confidence, continue with your list through more challenging integrity breaches. Reminder that clear agreements include Who is doing What by When. We look forward to hearing about what you learn and experience this week with this integrity practice.

Week 2: Appreciation (Commitment 7)

Identify someplace in your life where you are not appreciating (self, other, group, possession). What measurable action steps do you plan to take to build more appreciation for this person, group, situation, etc. this week?

Week 3: Genius (Commitment 8)

    In this exercise you are asked to identify and then describe eight specific accomplishments or experiences across your entire life.

Zone of Genius Process with Erica

Arrive at a clear articulation of your zone of genius.

You'll do two exercises that you'll share with Erica in advance of your sessions: one to explore and mine your life experiences to shine a light on your zone of genius, and one to gather impressions from those who know you best.

Erica will review and synthesize the results of both exercises before you meet, where she'll reflect what she sees and guide you into a deeper exploration in order to reveal and articulate your Zone of Genius.

After your first session (1.5 hrs), you'll experiment with your zone of genius for a couple of weeks, then have another session (45 minutes) to share you what you learned and clarify your zone of genius. At the end of the process, you'll have a clear articulation of your genius to put into action in your life.
